About typest.app
typest.app is a free design toolkit for Windows and macOS. I'm Luca Elias Themann, and I develop it.
Why typest exists
I was fed up with all the separate tools: one program for fonts, one website for upscaling, the next one for converting, yet another for color palettes – each with its own upload, its own account or its own subscription. I wanted one piece of software with everything in it instead of a thousand other sites. That's exactly what typest.app became.
What typest stands for
- Everything in one app: Font manager, brandboards, image upscaler and converter, background remover, icon library, moodboard, assets and color palettes – nine tools in one interface.
- Local, not cloud: Your files are processed on your computer and never uploaded.
- Free: No subscription, no hidden costs.
- Actively developed: New versions come out regularly. See the changelog
How typest is made
typest.app is under active development: since September 2026 more than 20 versions have been released, each with the changes listed in the changelog on the homepage. Updates install automatically on Windows and macOS. Suggestions and bug reports reach me straight from the app, through the review feature in the settings, or by email.
Who's behind it
typest.app is my sole proprietorship; all provider details are in the Legal Notice.
